As you can see, I am editing my CSS! Like it?
Since I need to get back into the habit of posting more often, I decided to hold a contest! Read below to find out more about it.
Goal: Sumbit a story, poem, picture, video, anything you want – but make sure it has Summer Spirit! For example, you could write a poem about the beach, make a picture collage of summery pictures, record a video of you doing something summery, or combine everything! You can even make something like a painting or poster. Whatever you think has the most Summer Spirit.
Details: Once we get 7 submissions, voting will begin on a new post! The first person to 5 votes wins. The first place prize is: gets their submission and name on my “Current Contest Winner” subpage of the “Fun Stuff” page, a spot on my blogroll (permanent), and a virtual widget to post on their website/blog. Second place gets a spot on my blogroll and a virtual widget, and third place gets a virtual widget.
Start submitting! Once we get 7 contestants, I will make a new post for voting. Thank you!
Awesome! I thought that I could make a collage of my Florida pics but I won’t be back in time.
Ah well, maybe I can think of somethin’ else. lol

Ok here’s my entry,
You Never Know What’s Happening Down There
On the bottom of the salty blue,
you never know what’s going on,
there could be a fiecre war between the dolphins and the sharks,
the octopusses as brave knights with shining armor,
inside a sunken ship you can find the queen manta-ray,
and a school of fish could really be going to school,
you never know whats happening down there.

Thanks! I might make some new pages, I might not. The only reason I did that was because on most other computers the pages were piling on top of eachother because of there being too much. Although they showed up fine on my computer I wanted to make sure other viewers could see it perfectly, too.

It’s here!
Let’s cheer!
Summer!
Not a bummer!
Everybody’s physced,
even my neighborhood plumber!
It’s time to sing,
time to ride the swings,
go to camp,
or bathe beneath a lamp.
Everybody jump
Everybody clap
Everyone give grumpy old Winter a slap!
The sun is shining down,
The kids are playing around,
Water’s splashing,
I am clapping,
Cause’ Summer, it is here!

Heres my entryyy!
My True Home
The burning sand beneath my toes, the sun roasting my bare back golden brown.
My hair blows in the crisp ocean breeze, while the hazy mist surrounds me.
I grab a meager shell, and quickly thrust it into the ocean air.
It twists and turns as it scampers across the top layer of the ocean blue.
Its journey is now over, as it slowly dissapears, into the darkness of the unknown, until no longer I can see.
All life long, I wondered where my true, true home was, I then realize, ive been here all along.
