Okay, now that it’s basically summer, I should have more time to post and less time to focus on… not posting! I’ve been actually wanting to post for a while now, but I never really got to it. But no need to worry, I’m here now!

A few weeks ago, my school had Celebration Night (basically a dance). It was really fun. I went with Alexa, Gia, and Carly. The dance was held in the gym and the cafeteria, the cafeteria was the “dance floor” which had a DJ and lots of snacks. In the gym, they had a huge blow-up obstacle course! I did it once, and I raced my friend Madison (no, not the online Madison. xD). It was a tie. If you were wondering, there are 2 seperate lanes on the obstacle course so you could race a friend. Yeah, it’s pretty big, it took up most of the gym! Also, they had a dunk tank in the school’s back yard. I don’t think I got a picture, but people got to dunk our principal, gym teachers, and other staff members, and even some parent volunteers. xD The night was pretty fun.

On Friday, our grade went rollerskating! It was a lot of fun, even though I had no idea how to rollerskate… We went on the buses to a rollerskating rink near our school and we got free pizza, soda, and skates! But me being my clumsy self, I went to grab my root beer and I dropped it… it spilled all over the table. There was no where else to sit, so I ended up sitting at a table with a bunch of bratty girls. At least I had Jasalynn next to me! xD We were trying to put our hands under the table to stop the soda from spilling, because it was already all over Jasalynn’s pants making it look like she peed… so we were like screaming at the top of our lungs, “Can someone please get us some napkins?!” and this annoying kiss-up girl was like, “I don’t know where they ARE, Jasalynn,” with a dirty look. Whatever, nobody likes that girl anyway! xD

During rollerskating, there were some contests like getting into trios and singing the song “OMG” by Usher as loud as possible, which I found pretty easy because that’s my favorite song! xD I got into a group with Madison and Carly and we skated around the rink singing. They put on another song, “Who Let The Dogs Out?” This other group won, and they got light-up sunglasses and light-up fake teeth…? xD It’s funny, because one of the girls who won always wears these scary fake teeth to scare people… I won’t be surprised if she starts wearing the light-up ones now! xD Also, this kid Shane fell thousands of times, and ended up breaking his ankle and being taken to the hospital during rollerskating. He was just about to go on vacation too… poor Shane!

Friday was also our last recess in history. Yes, we’re in sixth grade and still have recess. Our school is so babyish! I hate recess anyway, everyone gets in trouble for the stupidest things – me, Kelcie, Jasalynn, Avry, and Madison used to always do cartwheels and stuff at recess until our lunch aides yelled at us and told us we’d get written up if we continued to do “gymnastics.” Uh, it’s cartwheels, and not to mention GRASS that we’re doing them on! And then later that week, we got in trouble for lifting Avry up…? Wow, how babyish can recess get?

That reminds me, gymnastics starts soon! June first to be exact. I’m really excited, even if none of my friends are trying it with me. I still have to buy leotards… xD okay sorry, that was just me talking to myself. But yup, I’m starting gymnastics in about 2 weeks… yay!
